Community Garden Plot & Planting Rota Board for Beginners | Build a Plot × Month Chart With Friends

Families new to renting a community garden or allotment plot use this beginner template to plan a year of planting and share watering duty with the other families sharing their plots. The whiteboard has four pages — page 1 confirms plot conditions and gathers vegetable ideas, page 2 sorts them into a plot-by-month chart, page 3 plans supplies and the first workdays, and page 4 runs the watering and weeding rota. The task board has four columns — to do, this week, done, and harvested — with one parent task per page and three subtasks each; watering is set as a weekly repeating task, so everyone can see if a turn was missed. Even first-time planners can fill a full year's plan by swapping in their own plot and vegetables for the sample entries. Because planting times vary by climate, check the sample months against your seed packet. Follow your garden's rules and the product label for pesticides and fertilizer. Families can co-edit this rota board with limited sharing.
