Motivation Graph for Beginners | Chart Your Life's Ups and Downs to Find Your Drivers

This beginner motivation graph template helps job-hunting students and early-career workers chart life's ups and downs and turn them into a personal pitch for interviews. Across four pages: page 1 sets your goal, timeline segments, and a −5 to +5 mood-scoring rule; page 2 tables events, scores, and reasons by era to draw your mood wave; page 3 digs into the reasons behind your peaks and valleys to find common threads; page 4 uses Will/Can/Must to name three drivers in short phrases and turn them into a pitch line and job criteria. The task board runs four columns from To Do to Done, with four parent tasks matching the four pages and three subtasks each. Even without knowing how to draw a motivation graph, follow the sample entries to log one or two events per era and connect the scores with a pen. Since your drivers come from what your peaks and valleys share, you can answer what drives you in an interview with real events to back it up.
