Sailboat Retrospective for Beginners: Island, Wind, Anchor, Rocks, and Your Next 2 Weeks

A beginner's sailboat retrospective template for teams of 4 to 7 to place the island (goal), wind, anchors, and rocks at each two-week checkpoint and plan the next two weeks. The whiteboard has four pages. Page 1 sets the island and what arriving looks like, then checks the journey so far and last time's actions. Page 2 places wind, anchor, and rock notes in four zones. Page 3 narrows five anchors and rocks to one anchor to remove and one rock to avoid. Page 4 sets next actions and the next checkpoint date. The task board has five columns, from Topics to discuss to Done, with four parent tasks, one per page, and three subtasks each. First everyone adds notes, then you compare by impact and by how much you can change, then decide what, who, and by when. Checking last time's actions each session makes every next step easier to pick.
