Elevator Pitch for Beginners: Build and Practice a 30-Second Script for Your Idea

This beginner elevator pitch template helps junior staff and networkers build and rehearse a 30-second script for their idea in the week before the real thing. It has four pages. Page 1 pins down the setting, what your listener wants, what you want, and where the two meet. Page 2 gets every ingredient out and builds three drafts in a five-step form (hook, problem, solution, difference, ask). Page 3 compares the drafts, picks one and rewrites it per listener. Page 4 logs seconds and reactions as you say it aloud and plans practice. The task board has four columns, with four parent tasks, one per page, and three subtasks each. An elevator pitch is a talk about as long as an elevator ride (about 30 seconds) that explains an idea or yourself. Every frame has a sample entry to try and then replace. Limited-access team members can write together, so a friend's reaction goes straight into your practice log. Time it with your own watch or phone.
