AI Daily Use Habit Tracker for Beginners: One Moment a Day, 21-Day Log

Beginners who know AI is useful but can't build the habit use this template to pick one AI moment a day and mark 21 days with a circle or triangle. The whiteboard holds the 21-day grid, three idea frames for morning, work, and evening, a one-line note, five steps to build the habit, three frames for getting back on track, and a three-week review. The task board has four columns - pick a moment, try this week, tracking, reviewed - with 4 parent tasks and 3 subtasks each, 16 in all, from choosing the moment to daily tracking, review, and the next moment. Narrowing to one moment, using it once a day at the same time, and logging it makes the habit easier; 21 days is just a checkpoint, not a guarantee. If circles come in under half, shrink the moment - like just one email - and start again. A focused starter for designing your AI moment, not a general habit tracker.

Step 2Set your cuePick one trigger that starts it, like "when I open my laptop." Step 3Use it once a dayOnce a day is enough. Not skipping a day matters more than doing more. Step 4Log it the same dayMark ○ if it worked, △ if you stopped partway, on the grid (board 1). Step 5Check the count on weekendsCount the circles; if there are too few, go back to step 1 and shrink the moment. e.g. from the whole email to just drafting the opening line e.g. from the full minutes to just the 3 decided items Cut it down to something that takes one minute Shrinking it is an adjustment, not a failure e.g. block 5 minutes on the calendar every morning at 9 e.g. make right after lunch your fixed slot Set a notification if the cue alone is too weak A consistent time is easier to remember e.g. show a coworker your log once a week e.g. tell your family how many times you used it this week Having someone to show cuts down on blank days Set a fixed day of the week to report The 3-week result__ circles / __ triangles (out of 21 days)e.g. 12 circles, 5 triangles - it worked most weekdays Continue or redesign11+ circles: keep the same moment. 10 or fewer: shrink it and redesign.(Decision: ____) The next moment to addAdd just one, once this one is set. Don't add two at once.e.g. add an evening review (start date: __/__)
