Family Year in Review for Beginners: Mood Waves Board to Plan Next Year's Fun

A family year-in-review template for beginners: 3 to 5 people gather at year-end, look back on the year in one hour, and decide next year's treats and promises. A parent leads and types for everyone while all watch the same screen. Board 1 sets the talking rules and face stamps and collects each person's word of the year; board 2 lays out spring, summer, autumn and winter events with each person's mood; board 3 picks the happiest day and writes family thank-yous; board 4 sorts next year's treats into Now, Next and Later and sets family promises. The task board has four columns - before talking, talking together, next year's to-dos, and done - with four parent tasks and three subtasks each. Nobody has to talk about hard things, so it is safe with small children. Mood faces by season show everyone's ups and downs at a glance, and you can reopen the boards next year-end to check your promises.
