Personal Kanban for Beginners: Lay Out Work and Home on One Board, Two Today, One Waiting Lane

Anyone overwhelmed by a long to-do list can use this personal kanban template for beginners on Sunday night to lay out work and home tasks and cap Today at two. The whiteboard has four pages - get your state and to-dos out of your head, sort them into Backlog, Today, Waiting on others, and Done with a pick-two rule, split the pile with MoSCoW to decide what to drop or hand off, and break next week's big task into small steps with a mind map before a KPT look back. The task board has four lanes and four parent tasks with three subtasks each. The trick is to start at most two things at once and move anything waiting on someone else into its own lane. A 20-minute review every Sunday night keeps it going. Use it alone or with members of a limited-visibility team.
