Thank-You Cards for Beginners: Team Gratitude Board to Write One Card a Week and Keep What Works

This beginner template helps the leader of a four-to-seven person team try a one-month habit of writing one thank-you card per person each week, using example sentences. Each card names who, what they did, and how it helped. Page 1 sets the writing day and order and holds your first card, page 2 is a wall with frames for weeks 1 to 4 to post cards and record counts, page 3 sorts the cards into helping out, quick replies, careful work, and other to pick what to keep, and page 4 uses a Starfish retrospective (keep, more, start, stop, less) to plan next month. The task board has five columns from Preparing to Done, with four parent tasks, one per page, and three subtasks each. If you are unsure how to write a card, name the person, what they did, and how it helped in one or two lines. Members of a limited-visibility team can write together.
