How to Make a Flyer for Beginners: Sketch the A4 Layout and Plan Where and How Many to Hand Out

A beginner flyer-making template for anyone asked to promote a class, small shop, or local event, to open three to four weeks before printing. Four whiteboard pages cover it. Page 1 sets the goal, reader, and action, then lists content with 5W1H. Page 2 places headline, photo, perk, and map candidates on an A4 rough and tabulates position and size. Page 3 narrows what goes in with MoSCoW (must, should, could, won't) and picks one headline. Page 4 plans copies, owners, and dates per place, how to count responses, and the print steps. The task board has five columns (to decide, making it, awaiting check, handing out, done) with four parent tasks and three subtasks each. Deciding content and handout plan before any design helps a first-timer make a flyer with one clear message. Use it alone or with a limited-visibility team.
