Campaign Planning Workbook — design goals, KPIs, and channel tactics on one board
A marketing lead opens this on the kickoff day of a new quarterly campaign. The whiteboard stacks a goal-and-KPI frame, an awareness-to-action journey, a channel-by-tactic grid, a priority matrix, and the working rules. The task board is split into five parent tasks — goals, audience, channels, creative, and measurement — and every task starts as Not started once you copy the template.

This fits the moment when tactic ideas keep coming but production starts before the goal and KPIs are actually set. It's for marketers searching for how to design a campaign, how to build a KPI tree, or a marketing plan template, and it also works well for getting everyone aligned at kickoff.
Fill the board top to bottom. Start with Goal and KPIs and lock in your objective, primary KPI, budget, timeline, and constraints. Then write out the path in Awareness to action journey, and use Channel x tactic to assign roles across paid media, owned media, and email or social. Which tactics come first sets what you'll start this week, and once you've written your check-in cadence and wrap-up review into Working rules and definition of done, the design work is essentially done. The task board runs Not started, Designing, Producing, In review, and Done, so cards move into production as soon as their design is locked.
In the first week, focus on Quantify the target and Build the KPI tree, and hold off on production until the numbers are locked - that cuts down on rework later. Within the first month, finish Add tracking tags so you can update the numbers every week. If a task hasn't moved in two days, don't sit on it - bring it to the regular check-in and decide on the spot whether to reassign it or narrow its scope, so nothing stalls.
