Pre-Start Countdown: From Offer to First Day on One Board

The Pre-Start Countdown template is a new job checklist for anyone who has accepted an offer, covering onboarding paperwork, daily-life prep, and the plan for the first day at work. The whiteboard holds the plan up to the start date, a timeline from twelve weeks out to the night before, a table of forms with deadlines and where each one goes, a priority matrix that sorts what to study by how soon you need it and how long it takes to learn, and a 5W1H map of the first morning. The task board runs four columns from Not started to Done, and five parent tasks - paperwork, daily life, work kit, pre-start study, and day one - each carry their own subtasks. Working the deadlines first keeps forms from going missing and gets your bag packed the night before, so you walk in knowing what to bring, what time to arrive, and where to go.
