Remote Morning Check-in for Beginners: Place Your Weather Marker and Spot Who Needs Help First

A beginner template for remote morning check-ins, where each person places a name sticky in sunny, cloudy, rainy, or stormy to share how they feel. It takes five minutes a day and settles who helps with what that same day. The four-page whiteboard works like this - page 1 aligns the purpose, a 3-minute rule, and what each weather means; page 2 is where everyone places today's weather and writes their trouble and urgency; page 3 pairs each trouble with a helper, time, and method and sorts it into help today, later, or skip; page 4 fixes the owner, the time, and the evening check, then closes with a YWT review. The task board has five columns, from before the check-in to done, with 4 parent tasks (one per page) and 3 subtasks each. You can place just the weather, with no reason given. Members of a limited-visibility team can edit it together, so a small team can use the same board every morning.
