Niko-Niko Calendar for Beginners: Team Mood Board to Spot Who Needs a Check-in Early

This Niko-Niko calendar template for beginners lets a team of 4 to 7 (remote included) place one face stamp a day for two weeks and decide at a weekly meeting who to check in with. Four whiteboard pages: page 1 sets the purpose, the time and the meaning of three faces (good, okay, rough); page 2 is a members-by-10-days table plus a note on days everyone dipped; page 3 sorts lasting dips, digs into team causes with 5 Whys and picks who to talk to; page 4 chooses actions with MoSCoW and sets owners and deadlines. The task board has five columns (Getting ready, Recording, Discussing, Taking action, Done) and four parent tasks with three subtasks each. Tips: place the face at the same time daily, put one-liners on sticky notes outside the table, and keep a check-in to listening. Never label anyone's state, and tell people who stay low that a support service exists. Use the table only inside your team, with no public URL. Limited-visibility team members can co-edit it.
