AI Adoption 3-Month Retro for Beginners | KPT: Decide What to Keep, Stop, Try Next, Then Advance
This beginner-friendly template helps a team three months into AI adoption run a KPT retrospective before the early buzz fades, and decide how to use AI for the next three months. The whiteboard holds a spot for the tasks used, their effects, and pain points, a three-column KPT board (Keep, Problem, Try), three criteria frames for picking a candidate, a four-by-four table comparing candidates for the next three months, and frames for the decision and who to share it with. The task board runs five columns from gathering results to done, with four parent tasks - gather results, reflect with KPT, decide the next three months, and roll out the decision - split into three subtasks each (16 cards, all not started). Just fill the board top-left to bottom-right and you will end up with the one initiative to try next, its owner, a start date, and who to share it with. Every term is explained on the board, so teams new to AI, or a one-person department, can use it as is.
