Small Company Org Chart for Beginners: Map Roles and Approvals, Then Choose What the Owner Hands Off

Owners, directors, and team leads of a company with 5 to 15 people can use this beginner org chart template to draw today's overlapping roles and decide which of the owner's jobs to delegate. Board 1 sets your stage, a six-month goal, and a table of who owns each area. Board 2 draws the owner-centered chart and the approval limits. Board 3 sorts the owner's jobs by ease of handoff and time cost, then picks roles to hire or outsource. Board 4 sets the handoff order and a 3-month review date. The task board has 4 columns, 4 parent tasks, and 12 subtasks. If you have never made an org chart, fill in the table rows and copy them onto the branches to see your structure and plan delegation. The chart branches out from the center. For a top-down chart, add the Org Chart framework from the edit screen. You can write together with members of a limited-visibility team.
