Service Improvement Meeting for Beginners: Station Team Boards for Floor, Kitchen, and Register

Small cafe and diner owners and staff use this beginner service improvement meeting template to run floor, kitchen, and register teams side by side and pick fixes to try next week. Page 1 sets the theme and logs customer comments in a table. Page 2 lists each station's problems and causes in the same format and sorts them by moment: entering, ordering, serving, and paying. Page 3 writes fixes and requests to other stations and narrows them by impact and how soon they can start. Page 4 sorts them into KPT columns and sets an owner, start date, and review date. The task board has four columns - Topics this month, Trying, Awaiting review, and Keeping - with 4 parent tasks and 3 subtasks each (16 tasks in all). Members of a limited-visibility team can write together, so all three teams can type at once. Teams are easy to compare because everyone uses the same format.
