Jigsaw Method for Beginners: Expert and Home Group Board to Split Readings and Teach Each Other

A beginner template for team leads running a learning session where 6 to 9 people split up a new policy or case studies and try the jigsaw method for the first time. Page 1 holds the big question, readings A to C, and the table for regrouping into expert groups and home groups. Page 2 is for expert groups to prepare key points and how to explain them. Page 3 is where home groups teach each other and settle on one team answer. Page 4 turns that answer into a concept map and gives each use at work an owner and a deadline. The task board has five columns, from reading to done, with four parent tasks matching the pages and three subtasks under each. Because everyone takes a turn explaining, the content sticks better than in a listen-only session. A 90-minute guide is included (20 minutes alone, 25 expert group, 30 home group, 15 wrap-up). In a limited-visibility team, each person writes in their group's frame on the day.
